Hi, I'm Stacy! I founded Fun Programs by Stacy with a simple mission: to bring teens and adults with an IDD together through engaging, enjoyable activities that foster real connections.

I began developing programs for the Down syndrome community in 2019, starting with activities like Bingo and Cooking Club, which quickly became favorites. When the pandemic hit, all programming transitioned online, but participation stayed strong—especially in the virtual Bingo and Cooking sessions. In 2020, I also launched an online Book Club, which continues to meet regularly in 2025.

As the pandemic began to subside, there was a renewed enthusiasm for reconnecting through in-person programs. It was during this time that popular offerings like the Smoothie and Sandwich Clinics, Holiday Donuts, and Valentine's Day Waffles and Parfaits made their debut. These engaging programs provide participants with a hands-on cooking experience, an opportunity to socialize, and a creative activity—such as decorating holiday gift bags or making Valentine's Day cards.

In 2023 I used the valuable input from teens and adults with Down syndrome along with their families to develop some more fun and meaningful programs. Events like Game Night and Karaoke & Pizza offer opportunities for social connection and enjoyment, while community service projects—such as assembling Power Packs for children facing food insecurity and preparing 150 sandwiches for a homeless shelter—provide meaningful ways to give back.

I'm excited to share these programs with a variety of communities, including nonprofits, schools, and families. I look forward to tailoring recipes and activities to fit the unique needs of your group.

Whether you're looking to boost confidence in skills like cooking or reading, create team-building opportunities for your organization, or simply have fun in a welcoming atmosphere, Fun Programs by Stacy can help.
